TNPSC Announces Recruitment Notification of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II under 51 Vacancies: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment notification for Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II, and there are 51 vacancies. The online application process started from 14 September 2024. Eligible interested candidates can read the detailed notification and apply online from here for the available posts. He should carefully read the "Instructions to Applicants" published on the TNPSC website and take advantage of all the eligibility conditions by meeting those qualifications in order to have no kinds of issues during the time of selection.

An Applicant who is appointed to the post of an Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade-II should have a B.L. degree from an accredited institution. In so far as this meeting the requirements for the awarding of this degree are concerned, the holder of the degree would be expected to be possessed of such knowledge and skills in law as they would necessitate in their role as Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade-II. Because of this, the acquiring of the required qualification through education will become an imperative step for an applicant if he wants to enter the examination process post-recruitment.
Candidates must apply online via the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.in. Initially, candidates are required to register themselves on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform available on the Commission’s website, followed by completing the online application for the examination. If already registered, candidates can directly fill in the online application.
After the deadline for online application submission, an Application Correction Window will be accessible for three days from 16.10.2024 to 18.10.2024. During this time, candidates may edit their online application details. No modifications will be allowed after this correction period.

Candidates are prohibited from bringing mobile phones, pagers, any electronic devices, programmable gadgets, storage media (such as pen drives), smart watches, watches with built-in memory, rings with memory notes, cameras, Bluetooth devices, communication chips, or any related accessories into the examination hall/room. Additionally, non-electronic devices like P&G Design Data Books, mathematical and drawing instruments, log tables, map stencils, slide rules, books, notes, loose sheets, guides, rough sheets, and handbags are also not allowed.
If candidates are found with any banned items or instruments, they will be prohibited from taking the examination, and their answer sheets may be invalidated. There may also be debarment or rejection of candidature. Candidates may be subject to thorough physical searches, including frisking on the spot, if deemed necessary.
Candidates are strongly advised not to bring any banned items, including mobile phones, to the examination venue, as there are no assurances for safekeeping.
The one-time registration fee is ₹150, the preliminary examination fee is ₹100, and the main written examination fee is ₹200. Fee concessions are available for certain categories.
The last date to submit the online application is October 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
The minimum age for all candidates is 26 years. The maximum age limit is 36 years, with relaxations for Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen, and Destitute Widows.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Law (B.L.) degree to be eligible for the Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II position.
The preliminary examination is scheduled for December 14, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
